Theatre Access NYC provides assistance to theatregoers with disabilities. Those who are hard of hearing or deaf, have low vision or are blind, who cannot climb stairs or who require aisle seating or wheelchair locations, who are on the autism spectrum or have other developmental or cognitive disabilities now have one great place to find out everything you need to know to choose a show, buy tickets and plan your trip to Broadway and beyond.

Funder Support

This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.

Theatre Access NYC is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Governor's Office and the New York State Legislature.

Theatre Access NYC was spearheaded by longtime TDF staff member Christina Trivigno, who passed away September 24, 2024 after battling cancer. During her 11 years with TDF, she held multiple titles, including Director of Digital Strategy and Director of Digital Accessibility & Special Projects. As a wheelchair user and theatre lover, she was a passionate accessibility advocate.
