Here Lies Love

On a maroon and dark pink background, "HERE LIES LOVE" in gold, layered, curved, disco-inspired font appears across the entirety of the image. The O in "LOVE" is made from a golden disco ball with beams of light shooting out from it. Above the title, simpler gold font reads "THE REVOLUTIONARY MUSICAL EXPERIENCE"

Show Description

Here Lies Love is a groundbreaking American musical about the Filipino people from the brilliant minds of David Byrne (Academy Award, Grammy Award, and Tony Award winner) and Fatboy Slim (Grammy Award winner) which Time Out New York calls “an ecstatic and dynamic party.” With choreography by Annie-B Parson (Olivier Award nominee) and directed by Alex Timbers (Tony Award winner), the theater is transformed into a dance club where the audience is immersed in the journey of former Filipina First Lady Imelda Marcos and the Philippine People Power Revolution. Arielle Jacobs leads the cast as Imelda Marcos, while Jose Llana and Conrad Ricamora recreate their original roles from the Off Broadway production.

After sold-out, critically acclaimed runs at The Public Theater, National Theatre and Seattle Rep, Here Lies Love comes to Broadway. Ticket buyers can experience this revolutionary production in two ways: immersed within the show standing on the dance floor or from an array of traditional and innovative theatre seating options.

Set within a dance club atmosphere, audiences purchasing tickets on the Floor will stand and move with the actors. Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended. Dancing is encouraged.
